I may lose interviews resulting in fewer interviewees
for the production

How I plan to resolve these problems Problems faced/didn’t face
I will use my contact network e.g. friends, family and
previous interviewee’s/ actors in order to find individuals
who are going to benefit my documentaries reliability
and furthermore who are going to back my productions
facts.
I will make sure to have at least two back up
interviewees for my short documentary in case any
planned interviews are cancelled perhaps due to family
emergency, health issue or appointment of some type if I
successfully manage to gain a CAHMS worker or doctor.
I will make sure to have all work completed by the set
deadlines in order to not fall behind or this affecting my
short documentary. I will use notes on my phone to
record down all work I have either missed or not
complete this will be updated at the end of each day
and I will cross these tasks off once done.
I will make sure to give all artists credit in my production
by following YouTubes guidelines on music used, or I will
use royalty free music to prevent copy right.
I will make sure to fact check all research through
reliable sources such as books, films/ documentaries on
the topic and internet sources, this will boost my
documentaries reliability and make this more successful
for my target audiences learning experience.
I will make sure to research my short documentaries
genre in depth in order to learn what I need to do to

Problems I may encounter when researching and

Final Edit could go corrupt
I may have car issues that could prevent reaching
filming location
Not having the correct camera settings on Canon
200D DSLR
Loosing SD card that contains productions footage
make it as conventional to the medium and genre as
possible. I will review footage and make sure this shows
this clearly but also looks visually satisfying at the same
time. If this does occur, I will book reshoots as soon as
possible in order to reach a high final grade.
How I plan to resolve these problems Problems faced/didn’t face
I will make sure to back my edit up several times as well
as all document work in order to carry on with work if this
does occur. This will be backed up on my eternal drive
and home computer. This means this will be recoverable
if anything goes wrong.
I will make sure that I have back up transport planned
for filming dates in case anything goes wrong with my
car. This could be transport such as a life from another
person, taxi , bus or train all dependant on location of
filming.
I will make sure to communicate to my marking teacher
that I need help with discovering what camera settings I
need for my camera, this shows communication skills as I
am communicating to individuals that I need help. I will
also make sure to look through the cameras manual
book as this will allow me to gain a better understanding
of my camera’s settings. This can also be done through
internet tutorials.
I will make sure to back up all footage at the end of
each filming day both on my hard drive and home
computer. I will also make sure at the end of each

filming day to check that all equipment is packed up

and ready to take back to prevent losing anything as
this would push me back on my production schedule.
