Preparation

1) Change laptop IP to 192.168.0.2 / 255.255.255.0

Remarks: Disable WiFi connection

2) Create a folder named FTP in D drive

3) Copy and paste the software file to FTP folder

4) Make sure the size of the v200r006c20spc600 file is same as below

Remarks: If the size is not same, please delete it and copy again.

5) Make sure the size of the v200r006c20spc600 file is same as below

Remarks: If the size is not same, please delete it and copy again.

6) Use LAN cable connect laptop and ATN905

7) Open Command Prompt, insert ipconfig to make sure only one IP
8) In command prompt, insert ping 192.168.0.1 to make sure ping is successful

9) Open secureCRT / Putty, ssh to ATN905

Hostname = 192.168.0.1

Putty SecureCRT
10) Login to ATN905 by using
Username = root
Password = Changeme_123
Insert N for do not change password

11) Copy paste the configuration as below to ATN905

System-view
ftp server enable

aaa
local-user root service-type ssh ftp
local-user root ftp-directory cfcard:
quit

user-interface vty 0 4
protocol inbound all
quit
quit
12) In command prompt, change directory to D:\FTP

Step 1: insert D: then press enter

Step 2: insert cd FTP then press enter

Final result as below

cd FTP_ATN

13) Insert ftp 192.168.0.1

Username = root
Password = Changeme_123
Remarks: 230 User logged in mean you successfully login

14) Insert bin

15) Upload the software file to ATN905

Insert put V200R006C20SPC600-ATN-905.cc

Wait 15 minutes, after completed, system will show message as below

16) Upload the patch file to ATN905

Insert dir

Wait 5 minutes, after completed, system will show message as below

17) Insert bye to exit

18) Go to Putty or Securecrt (you may need to reconnect again)

 Insert dir

Remarks: Make sure this two files is exist and the size are same
V200R006C20SPC600-ATN-905.cc = 40603340 byte
ATN_905910I-D_V200R006SPH230.pat = 2398042 byte

19) Insert check system-software v200r006c20spc600-atn-905.cc

21) Insert dis

Remarks: Make sure system show “succeeded” as above

22) Insert startup patch atn_905910i-d_v200r006sph230.pat

Remarks: Make sure system show “succeeded” as above

23) Insert Display startup
 Remarks:
Make sure Next startup system software = v200r006c20spc600
Make sure Next startup patch package = v200r006sph230
24) Insert reboot
Insert N for do not save configuration
Insert Y for reboot

25) After ATN successfully reboot, insert Display version

Remarks: Make sure is V200R006C20SPC600

26) Insert Display patch-info

Remarks: Make sure is atn_905910i-d_v200r006sph230.pat

27) Insert Display startup
Remarks: Make sure same as above
