I. Objectives:
At the end of the day the students should be able to:
K – Deepen their knowledge in ways by which one may generate possible ideas for business.
S – Select which of the five ways, applies in a given scenario.
A – Relate their knowledge about the ways by which one may generate possible ideas for
business in real life situations.
III. Procedure:
A. Preparation
1. Daily Routine
Prayer
Greeting
Classroom Management
B. Presentation
Give more real life scenarios of the following ways by which one may generate possible
ideas for business:
1. Examine the existing goods and services.
2. Examine the present and future needs.
3. Examine how the needs are being satisfied.
4. Examine the available resources around you.
5. Read magazines, news articles, and other publications on new products and
techniques or advances in technology
IV. Assessment:
½ Crosswise:
Determine which of the 5 ways is applied in the given situation: (3points each)
1. A group of people in your neighborhood may have some special skills that can be harnessed
for business.
2. The Internet serves as a library where you may browse and surf on possible businesses.
3. You introduce new ways of using the product, making it more useful and adaptable to the
customers’ many needs.
4. A town will have its electrification facility in the next six months. Only by that time will the
entrepreneur could think of electrically- powered or generated business such as xerox copier,
computer service, digital printing, etc
5. Their needs for raw materials, maintenance, and other services such as selling and
distribution are good sources of ideas for business.
