ABSTRACT

ARIE AGUSTIAN MUNAZAT, Effects of Transformational Leadership,


Achievement Motivation and Non-Physical Work Environment on the
Performance of Resclean Washing Train Unit Branch Offices in
Bandung PT Reska Multi Usaha under the guidance of Prof. Dr. H. Iman
Sudirman, Ir, DEA.

This research was conducted because of a tendency to decrease the


performance of employees or in other words the performance of the
employees of the Resclean Wash Train Branch Office 2 Bandung PT Reska
Multi Usaha. This is thought to be influenced by the lack of employee
achievement motivation and non-physical work environment as well as the
lack of effective transformational leadership carried out at the Resclean
Washing Unit of the Branch Office 2 Bandung PT Reska Multi Usaha. The
aim of this study to determine and obtain a picture of the influence of
transformational leadership, achievement motivation and non-physical work
environment on the performance of the employees of Bandung Branch
Office 2 Resclean washing unit PT Reska Multi Usaha.

The research method used is survey method for employees in Bandung


Branch Office 2 Resclean Washing Train Unit PT Reska Multi Usaha, which
as a sample was taken as many as 99 employees in Area 2 Bandung. Data
collection techniques used were field studies, interviews, questionnaires
and library research. While the data analysis used correlation analysis
techniques and path analysis techniques.

The results showed that Transformational Leadership, Achievement


Motivation, Non-Physical Work Environment and Employee Performance
are in the category of Good Enough and Good. The relationship between
Transformational Leadership variables (X1) with Achievement Motivation
(X2) obtained a value of 0.867, between Transformational Leadership
variables (X1) with Non-Physical Work Environment (X3) obtained a value of
0.514 and between the Achievement Motivation variable (X2) with Non Work
Environment Physical (X3) obtained a value of 0.632. While the influence of
Transformational Leadership (X1) on Employee Performance (Y) is 0.483
(48.30%), the effect of Achievement Motivation (X2) on Employee
Performance (Y) is 0.210 (21%) and the influence of Non-Physical Work
Environment (X3) on Performance Employees (Y) of 36.7 (36.70%), and the
influence of Transformational Leadership (X1), Achievement Motivation (X2)
and Non-Physical Work Environment (X3) on Employee Performance (Y) of
86.7 (86, 70%).

The conclusion of this study is that Transformational Leadership,
Achievement Motivation and Non-Physical Work Environments have a
significant effect on the performance of the Washing Unit of the Brach Office
2 Bandung Train Officer PT Reska Multi Usaha. Factors or variables and
which also influence performance such as Work Discipline, Work Culture,
Compensation, Work Morale and so on.
