 HISTORY

AGP limited (AGP) started operating in 1989 as an independent pharmaceutical manufacturing

company In Karachi, Pakistan. It has steadily grown through manufacturing and marketing

products under licensing arrangement with many companies of international repute and also

through manufacturing and marketing its own brands. Today, it one of the largest pharmaceutical

companies in Pakistan, providing a broad range of pharmaceutical product. The determination to

upgrade the pharmaceutical resources of Pakistan, providing a broad range of pharmaceutical

products. The determination to upgrade the pharmaceutical resources of Pakistan and improvement

of the quality of life of a common man was the key motivation factor in the AGP.

The operations of AGP includes the marketing, manufacturing and selling of the pharmaceutical

and the health care products in the market of Pakistan. The distribution and transportation of the

product of AGP is done by the one of the famous pharmaceutical transporters set ups in Pakistan.

or the head department is located in Karachi, Pakistan but the are trying to enhas their products plus their

services to get or gain more profit as every company want but they are providing the best health care and

pharmaceutical products in Pakistan

As we can see they are trying to cover up many functional areas as respect to their products

and services. And we know that they are well known pharmaceutical company in Pakistan

located in Karachi. (functions of AGP).

PARTNERSHIP

In 2015, AGP limited have an agreement with Mylan it is the most renown pharmaceutical

company through out the world this company is located in USA and they also provide

pharmaceutical products plus health care products they have a revenue of about 11 billion US$

and gave the AGP 7500 different products which helps them a lot in generating revenue and

providing good services.

Vifor Pharma – formerly the Galenical Group – is a Swiss global specialty pharmaceutical

company and one of the global giant which has entrusted AGP along with other companies of OBS

group to manufacture, market and distribute some of its products in Pakistan. Vifor has presence

in over 100 countries and its partnership with AGP certifies Vifor’s trust in our organization. (AGP

Partnership).

AGP POLICIES

AGP management comprise two things:

1. QUALITY POLICY

2. EHS POLICY

In QUALITY POLICY the AGP management ensure that the product they provide will be as

satisfied as they said and the services and delivery, they give will be suitable for every customer

throughout the region. They also want to make a friendly environment for their employees so they

can get easily adaptive to the environment and the rules and regulations of the company. They also

want to take care of many other issues to ensure or get through the future and current issues because

they don’t want to provide their customer with the fall’s product. AGP’s slogan is “we value life”;

and fulfillment of the said commitment by each employee will assist the company to achieve our

aim, i.e. provision of safe and quality products to everyone at reasonable prices.
As far as we know about the EHS (environment, Health and Safety) limited and its employees are

committed and bound to protecting the environment and the health and safety of fellow employees,

customers and others by managing and obeying the rules and regulations of country and the rules

bound within the organization. Industry standards and best possible practices, encouraging

pollution prevention and striving towards the continual Improvement.

As an integral part of its Total Quality Management system, AGP seeks to go beyond compliance

with regulatory standards in pursuit of excellence in Environment, Health and Safety management

practices. trained at all levels. High standards of quality applied across the organization enable us

to ensure patient safety and meet the expectations of customers and other stake holders. (AGP

POLICIES).

Every organization has a management which leads and controls the organization in different areas

and aspects. The AGP limited comprise different levels and different group of people who lead

that department. Following are the list of people that are in management of AGP limited.

online they also ensure the secure and reliable products to their customers as the reviews been set

by the customers they do not want any of the thing to get a bad impact to their company so that

why they keep an eye that the customer gets the best product they needed and according to their

requirement.
 FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

We can tell that an organization is gaining profit of not by looking at the financial statement but it

could be very hectic by going through each year’s financial statement we can jus get to know the

Gross Profit Margin and Net Profit Margin of the company to know if its gaining profit or not.

We can tell about AGP limited that if this company gaining profit or going in loss by looking at

the major points.

The AGP Gross Profit and Net Profit is given bellow:

By looking at the profit table we can easily tell that the company gained profit from 2016-2017 for

about more than 1% net profit and more than 3% gross profit and by looking at 2018 financial

report the company faces loss and this could happen by many reasons.

AGP limited is the well-known pharmaceutical company in Pakistan and throughout the world as

by their partnership with the USA most popular and the world know companies. They provide the

best and high-quality products and services. They have a strong environment and a strong culture

throughout the organization which helps their employees to groom and get the good out of

themselves.
