Chapter 2

Executive Summary

Brief Description of the Study

The five proponents bind themselves to establish a partnership type of business because of the
advantage that they can contribute anything (money, property, industry) to a common fund with
the intention of dividing profits among themselves.

The proponents proposed a Pica-Tea in a Cup food cart which is a 2-in-1snack composed of Iced
Tea with a cup of fries or nachos in the top of it and customers may also avail siomai and hotdog
as additional toppings. These foods will probably suit to the community as this is the common
cravings of the students, facultiesand other customers in the Campus.

This business is quite new to the customers. The serving of its product is quite dirrerent from
other competitors because of the concept that the fries and iced tea can be hold just in one
hand which can attract customers and make them more comfortable when eating. It will be a
more affordable and satisfying to everybody that the food is worth the price.

Project's contributions to the economy (Socio Economic Aspect)

The proposed project can provide employment opportunity for the students in evening session
of UMTC who wants to apply and become part of the working team. The reason why partners
prefer evening students to become the employees is that the operation of the business is at
daytime which means the time-schedule suits perfectly for them. The offered jobs is expected
to help the students who's lacking financial support and hopefully they can sustain their needs
while they are studying. Eventually, the business can help to reduce the unemployment
problem of the city.
