IV. DEFINITION OF TERMS

As used in these guidelines, the following terms shaii be clefined as follows

3. Establishment of Schoo1 is the process ol iniliating, instituting,

organizing, operating, conducting arrd maintaining a nerv school, in a
baralgay, municipalltlr, city or province b-v administrative authority of the
DepED Regional Office.

4. DepED School Identification {ID) is:r urrique sr-x chgit numbcr;,Lssigrcd rt.r
every school for purposes of identifying schools listed in the clatabase of
DepBD's Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS). lt is also
used as a system of distinguishing schools with the same narne but located

issued separate DepED School IDs for purposes of school srte identification.

annex from its mother school to become a separate and independent
school.
