PHILOSOPHY
Daniel Libeskind is renowned for his ability to evoke cultural memory in
buildings. Informed by a deep commitment to music, philosophy, literature, and
poetry, Mr. Libeskind aims to create architecture that is resonant, unique
and sustainable.

It is characterized by ideas of fragmentation,

an interest in manipulating ideas of structures
surface or skin, non-rectilinear shapes which
serve to distort and dislocate some of the
COMMEMORATIVE
elements of architecture, such as structure

and envelope.

Deconstructing is to deform a rationally

DECONSTRUCTION
structured space so that the elements within
that space are forced into new relationships".
It features a lot of chopping up, layering, and
fragmenting
