The topic is students and teachers managements system. in Which there are two way, first
is students can access his panel,select courses,see grades etc. And second way is teachers panel .
in which teachers set courses and many more .so Basically the Given topic is students and
teachers management system

1.1 Purpose

The main Purpose is The provide one plate form .in which Students and teachers are
communicate with students and teachers set new courses ,set grads and provide easy tutorials.
And students get easily Content and communicate with teachers.

1.2 Scope

Project is intended to help the any institute that wants to store their students and management
records into the computer. Our software is specially designed for an educational institute colleges
Our project software will fulfill all the requirement of college. It will store all the personal and
academic information of the students. It will also store the fee information of the students.
Management will get information of any student who studied/studying in this courses till now
easily. This software will also help the management to store their Teachers information
including their personal information . Payroll system is very important of any organization .so
this software will also handle the pay roll system of this institute. If will also store the results of
the students.
1.3 Overview

Now these days computer play an important role in any organization because computer can
easily manage the great number of data as compare to human. User can easily access data on
right time in computer.
This College has a great number of students. So it is difficult for the management to get
information about this institute on right time. When computer system play in this institute it will
make easy to manage and access data of this institute.

The first objective of this system is to maintain the data of all the student and teacher in database.
It maintains the personal record as well as the academic record of the student. It maintains
student fee record and dues record. Teacher personal record are also store in the software.

Reports are the most important outputs of Students management system (SMS). SMS create the

The User Manual contains all essential information for the user to make full use of the
information system. This manual includes a description of the system functions and capabilities,
contingencies and alternate modes of operation, and step-by-step procedures for system access
and use. Use graphics where possible this manual. The manual format may be altered if another
format is more suitable for the particular project.

“HOSTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM“ is software to develop for managing various
activities in hostel .The hostel management system is the system that manages the details of the
students staying in the hostel, admission details, staffs details, visitor’s messages and the receipt
of the fees paid by the students. It will be one of the important projects that will simplify the
work of the institutions in getting the seats booked in the hostels with great ease. Hostels are the
part of the institutions which will help the students to stay here who are coming from far places.

It will help the students in getting the seats in the hostels without any difficulty and will also help
in maintaining transparency. It will help in simplifying life of everyone to acquire seats with
great ease.

hostel, rooms rent. It manages all the information about beds, payments, rent, beds. It tracks all
the details about the rooms rent.

1.2 Scope

The proposed project Hostel management project is a computerized system. The use of this
project in the hostel can reduce all the problems discussed above in the current manual hostel
management system . The main objective of developing hostel management system is to save
money and time.
1.3 Overview

This software product the hostel management to improve their services for all the
students of the hostel. This also reduce the manual work of the persons in admin panel
and the bundle of registers that were search when to find the information of a previous
student, because through this system you can store the data of those students who had
leaved the hostel three years ago. Through this you can check the personal profile of all
the current students within few minutes the data base of the system will help you to check
a particular one.

The system will help you to check the mess bills of every student and the student’s hostel
dues. The students of the hostel will be recognized from the ID number allocated at the
room rental time.
