A RESOLUTION ADOPTING PPOC RESOLUTION NO. ______, SERIES OF 2020

TITLED: “A RESOLUTION CONDEMNING THE ATROCITIES RELENTLESSLY
COMMITTED BY THE CPP-NPA TERRORISTS (CNTs) AND DECLARING THEM AS
PERSONA NON GRATA WITHIN THE BARANGAY

WHEREAS, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte issued Executive Order No. 70 dated December
2018 which creates the National Task Force to end Local Communists Armed conflict and
institutionalized a “Whole of Nation Approach” in attaining an “inclusive and sustainable
peace”;

WHEREAS, the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) issued Memorandum
Circular No. 2018-211 that mandates prohibition of support to left-wing rebel groups pursuant to
Section 4 of Republic Act No. 10168, otherwise known as “The Terrorism Financing Prevention
and Suppression Act of 2012”;

WHEREAS, the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) passed a Resolution condemning
the atrocities relentlessly committed by the CPP-NPA Terrorists (CNTs) and declaring them as
Persona Non Grata in the whole Province of Zambales which was adopted by the Municipal
Peace and Order Council (MPOC);

WHEREAS, the Barangay of ____________ shares the concerns and sentiments of the PPOC,
MPOC and the DILG in condemning acts of atrocities or violence committed by CPP-NPA
Terrorists that deprived the lives of numerous victims in the country;

WHEREFORE, on motion of _________________________, duly seconded, the Sangguniang

Barangay of ______________________ in session assembled;
RESOLVE AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to adopt as it hereby adopts, PPOC Resolution
No. ______ Series of 2020 titled: “A Resolution Condemning the Atrocities Relentlessly
Committed by the CPP-NPA Terrorists (CNTS) and declaring them as Persona Non Grata in the
whole Province of Zambales.
