Flow control gate


The flow control gate is
an element to be placed

of an upper box (A) which
forms the conveying
chamber and a lower box
(B) which is supplied with

This is a typical applica-
tion of flow control gates
installed for
controlled silo discharge
in an I BAU Silo.
The ring-shaped bottom
of I BAU Silos can be divi-
ded into 4 – 12 sections.
Each section consists of
fluidizing pads, a cut-off
gate and a flow control
gate with flexible
connection and a fluid-
slide which conveys the
discharged material to
the collecting bin.
The flow control gates
are opened one after the
other, the sequence being
controlled by a timing
system. Generally
only one section at a time
is activated for discharge.

Controlled

Raw meal metering equipment

The variations of the basic
type with different actuators
have in common the
extremely high accuracy
of a controlled flow of
pulverised bulk goods
with reproducible results.
They require practically no
maintenance. However,
I BAU FLOW CONTROL GATE even good things are
