Q 1: What is a Sodexo Meal Pass?

A: Sodexo Meal Pass is a “non-transferable” pre-paid voucher, which can be used

to pay for food & non-alcoholic beverages at food outlets affiliated to Sodexo in
India. Each Sodexo Meal Pass voucher will have a printed face value in Indian
Rupees (INR) and can be used only in India.

Q 2: What is the benefit of using Sodexo Meal Pass?

A: Sodexo Meal Pass is tax free in your hands! In simple terms, if you pay for your
food & non-alcoholic beverages through Sodexo Meal Pass it will cost you up to
30.9% less! On a maximum benefit of Rs.42,120 p.a. allowed by your company
you can increase your disposable income by up to Rs.13,000 p.a.

Q 3: Is the Sodexo Meal Pass benefit over and above the tax savings through
investments?

A: The tax saving on Sodexo Meal Pass is over and above the scheduled
investments allowed by the Government of India. The benefit can be instantly
used in daily life to pay for your food & non-alcoholic beverages.

Q 4: Where and how can I use the Sodexo Meal Pass benefit?

A: Sodexo Meal Pass can be used to pay for your meals, snacks, beverages, etc at
your company cafeterias or at any of the 20000+ food & beverage outlets
affiliated to Sodexo across 1500+ locations across India. Just tear the equivalent
value of Sodexo Meal Pass from your booklet and hand it over at the point of sale
for the value of food & non-alcoholic beverages purchased.

Q 5: Do I have to pay anything extra to the food retailer for using Sodexo Meal
Pass?

A: Sodexo Meal Pass will be accepted for an equivalent value of food & beverages
at all affiliated outlets. In other words no extra charges will be levied for using
Sodexo Meal Pass.( In case of any such cases, please share the name to take
actions on them accordingly)

Q 6: How long are the Sodexo Meal Pass vouchers valid?

A: Sodexo Meal Pass issued for June-2016 will be valid till 31-Dec-2016. Sodexo
Meal Pass issued from July-2016 onwards will be valid up to 31-December-2017.
Therefore the minimum validity is 6 months and the maximum validity is 18
months.

Q 7: What denominations of Sodexo Meal Pass will be available?

A: Sodexo Meal Pass is available in standard denominations of Rs.10, 20, 35 and

50. Denominations will be customized as per the requirement of your company.

Q 8: What happens if my purchase value is above the available denominations

of Sodexo Meal Pass?

A. If the value of purchase is more than the combined value of voucher

denominations that you have submitted for payment, the balance value can be
paid in cash. No change will be given back for the unused part of the face value,
so be sure that you make full use of it.

Q 9: What happens if I lose my Sodexo Meal Pass booklet?

A: Losing your Sodexo Meal Pass is like losing cash and cannot be retrieved. So
please safeguard it and do not leave it unattended.

Q 10: Where can I get the complete list of does that accept Sodexo Meal Pass?

A: You will receive the complete list of outlets in an Excel file from your company.
