Direct Recruitment for the Post of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges and
Special Institutions.
ADDENDUM TO NOTIFICATION NO.14/2019, DATED: 27/11/2019

In continuation of Notification No.14/2019 dated 27/11/2019 the Important Dates

regarding application through Online Mode are incorporated as below in para 1B, 1C,
& ID of the notification.
1. Important Dates:
A Date of Notification 27/11/2019
B Date of Commencement application 22/01/2020
through Online mode
C Last date for submission of 12/02/2020
application through Online mode 05:00 p.m
D Date of Online Computer Based First week of May 2020

2) The list with details of equivalent qualification are incorporated herewith to

para (7) Equivalent qualification.
The list of Equivalent qualifications and related Government orders as per Table
– 1 & 2 (Engineering subject) for UG & PG.
Note: In case of any qualification for which equivalence G.O. details are not mentioned
in the list, it is the onus on the part of candidates to furnish the same at the time of
Certificate Verification.
3) The scale of pay of Lecturer (Government Polytechnic Colleges) as per
Tamilnadu Revised Pay scale rule 2019 is incorporated in SL(1) of the Notification
following addendum is issued.
 The Scale of pay of Lecturer (Government Polytechnic Colleges) shall be
Rs.15600-39100 + AGP Rs.5400/- in the pre-revised scale of pay.

Under caption “Qualifications”, the following shall be substituted: The pattern of study
shall be 10 + 2 + 3 + 2 (or) 10 + 3 + 2 + 2 for Non-Engineering subject (Modern office
practice) as per G.O.Ms.No.242, Higher Education Department, Dated: 18/12/2012.

4) The list with details of fake Universities are incorporated herewith to para ( 7 )
Equivalent qualification.

5) The document upload details are incorporated herewith to Sl.No.(8) (j) How to
apply.
The list of documents should be uploaded in PDF Format while the candidates
are filling of the Online application form itself.
i) 10th /SSLC Mark Sheet
ii) 12th / Higher Secondary or its equivalent Mark Sheet
iii) UG Degree in the appropriate branch of study
iv) PG Degree in the appropriate branch of study
v) Community Certificate
vi) Proof of claiming Tamil Medium reservation (PSTM) if any
vii) Disability Certificate ( if applicable)
viii) No Objection Certificate, if the candidate is Government Servant
ix) Last studied Conduct Certificate
x) Latest Conduct Certificate from the Responsible person ( after the
notification)
