Personal Purpose

Values and Personal Beliefs

I have an amazing and loving family which is Christian Religion based. I have been raised in a
Christian religion home and that’s how it’s been for a while. My religion isn’t one that makes us
do extreme things but just respect ourselves, others and know certain beliefs. I do believe my
values and personal beliefs are a guideline to me because it’s what keeps me from going off
track. I do understand that nowadays there’s more than many religions and personal beliefs
people have and to respect everyone as what they believe in but my personal beliefs have helped
me shape into the person I am today.

Dreams and Visions

I have many dreams and visions for me in the future, mostly being a millionaire with 3 mansions
and etc; but we all want that. In the future I expect myself to be a Nurse Practitioner, I’ve always
had an immense interest to have a career on helping people so this job would be perfect. In 10
years or so I see myself finishing up all my college, having met the love of my life, and
hopefully about to start my career as a Nurse Practitioner. My dreams are out of the expectancy
and will most likely not happen at all but hopefully the dream of helping others does come true.

What are You Passionate about?

Something that really brings out the passion in me is when there’s an opportunity to better
myself. For example, I currently work as a CNA in a resident’s home, it gets a bit tiring
sometimes and stressful. There was an opportunity to get a higher position and its better pay, I
talked to my parents about it and they agree with me, if it betters me than I should go for it.
Another example if tutoring, whenever there’s tutoring for an upcoming test or anything I try my
very best to go for that extra help. Any opportunity to better myself, I take it and see myself
working an extra mile to better myself.

Your academic and/or professional goals

The major I’m currently taking is the start to become a Nurse Practitioner. At first, I wanted to be
a dermatologist but then I realized that it takes a long time and just a lot of money and
unfortunately it isn’t what I have right now. I talked to a few people and they helped me look
into Nursing more. Nursing Practitioner helps people, I get to do some stuff on my own but on
some things, I need a physician involved. The purpose in seeking a higher education degree is to

have a good and stable future where I can first help others in need, help myself and help my
parents because without them I don’t know where I would be.
