1 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This manual is considered part of the instrument and must be available to the
operator and the maintenance personnel.
personnel For accurate installation, use and
maintenance, please read the following instructions carefully. In order to avoid
damage to the instrument or personal injury,
injury carefully read the ”GENERAL
SAFETY WARNINGS” describing the appropriate operating procedures. Please
contact the local Technical Service in the event of instrument failure or other
difficulties with the instrument.
1.5 Biohazard
1.5-1:
The „BIOHAZARD“ warning label must be affixed to instrument prior to first use
with biological material !
1.7 Notice
Every effort has been made to avoid errors in text and diagrams
diagrams. HUMAN,
however, assumes no responsibility for any errors which may appear in this
publication. It is the policy of HUMAN to improve products as new techniques
and components become available. HUMAN therefore reserve reserves the right to
change specifications if necessary in the course of such improvements.
Reagent application
If the reagent contacts your eyes, flush your eyes immediately using large
quantities of water and get medical help.
If the reagent is accidently consumed (drunk), get medical help immediately
and drink large quantities of water to induce vomiting.
If your hand or skin is stained by the reagent, flush immediately with water.
Tubes and other instruments must be properly disposed of as medical
med waste
or infectious waste after use. Contact with blood presents a risk of infection
by pathogens.
Electrical voltage, connection and earthing
Ensure that the plug is not inserted into an AC electrical outlet with voltage
greater than 110/220 VAC AC ± 10%.
10 Otherwise, it may cause fire or electrical
shock.
The machine must be installed using the included three-pin
three power cable.
Ensure that it is well earthed. Otherwise, it may cause fire or electrical shock.
Be sure not to damage the protective insulation on the power cable. Do not
pull strongly on the power cable or hang heavy items off it. Otherwise, it may
cause a broken circuit or a short circuit, which may cause electrical shock or
fire.
The power supply must be disconnected when connecting peripheral
equipment. Otherwise, it may cause electrical shock or malfunctions.

2.4 Installation
Warning:
In areas with unstable voltage, please use a UPS power supply to ensure proper
functioning of the instrument.
In the event that smoke, abnormal smell or unusual sound emanate from the
instrument, immediately switch
witch off the power and contact the distributor.
Warning:
Do not touch the surface of the light inlet window on the flow cell by hand to
avoid transferring grease from your hands onto the window, which will affect
transmittance.

4. Slide the light source back and forth to maximize the tested AD value (value
in the round brackets).
5. Adjust screw 2 and screw 4. Note that direction of movement for 2 and 4 are
opposite. Unscrew screw 4 and tighten screw 2 simultaneously to make the
AD value stay at 3000 or around (Any value between 2500 and 3800 is
acceptable) and then fasten screw 3.
3. Clamp the spring pieces (4) on each side of the switch base. Push the switch
base outwards and then remove it (Fig. 4.3-1).
4. Pull out the power cable (5) and (6) from the connector on the switch and
clamp the spring pieces on each side of the switch and pu push out the switch
(Fig. 4.3-1).
5. Pick a good switch and turn the “I”
“ ” mark toward the socket direction and plug
it into the switch base.
6. Connect the power cable (5) and (6) to the connector of the switch (Fig.
4.3
4.3-1).
7. Press the switch base into the instrument
instrume base (Fig 4.3 3-2) and make sure the
plug of the power cable toward the fan direction (Fig 4.3
4.3-2).
8. Connect the (1), (2), (3) power cables (Fig. 4.3-1).
9. Return the upper lid and fasten the screw on it and then start the instrument
(Avoid the cables on the upper lid being pressed by the screw head lest the
cab be damaged).

completed.
10. To install the spectral filter into the cassette, follow the above mentioned
disassembling procedures in a contrary order.
40
1. Unscrew the screws and remove the Cassette then you can see the signal
receiving board.
2. Unscrew the 3 screws with red spacers and pull out the receiving board then
you can have a full look at the board.

5 REGULAR MAINTENANCE
5.1 Summary
HumaLyzer Primus is a precision clinical analyzer. For ensuring its good
conditions, daily maintenance should be done. Maintenance is very simple, but it
should be carried out carefully.
Warnings: Caution: Do not let the analyzer be exposed to any solvent, oil, and
other corrosive substances.
6 PROBLEM-SOLVING

User-defined filters
1. User can change or add filters to the instrument according to requirement
requirement,
but filters must be installed as Figure 2-7(b)
2 7(b) describ
described .(the wavelength
displayed on Figure 2-7
2 7 (a) is correspond to the filter position on 2
2-7 (b) )
Note : Don’t install filter to the position 1,because this position rest on light path
when instrument not testing.
2. After filter has been installed properly, turn on instrument anand enter the AD
value display interface, as 2-7(a).
2 Press RINSE key to aspirate distilled water
(make sure pipeline
pipel fully flooded), then
hen press Left or Right button
button( ) to
find the position installed new filter, and then press .(dot)168, the
wavelength value “None” will be lighted, at this moment, you can input the
new filter’s wavelength value, when the AD value keep stable, press
stable ENTER
key to save the current filter’s wavelength value and corresponding AD value.
6.4 Change
e the input voltage between 110V and 220V
220
1. Please turn off the instrument. Take off main cover and disconnect inside
cables carefully. You should see the power supply like on the figure 1.
Figure 1
2. You could take tweezer to change the input voltage by adjusting the red
button as Figure 1. Or, remove the power supply‘s cover, it should be more
convenient to adjust the button.
When
hen the button been set on “115V”
“115V as below figure, the input voltage should
between AC 110V±10%
