• Only 10% of your production can be found footage (downloaded)

and only if you are producing a factual programme
• No footage or written work from previous units may be used

or resubmitted for your final project
• All written work must be your own and any sourced work must
be Harvard referenced properly
• The work submitted must follow the brief created at the

beginning of your Final project

My Final Idea in Detail:
My productions idea is a short documentary which I aim to be
between 10 - 20 minutes long. This documentary will be aimed at
two groups of people, teenagers (16-24 years old) and parents
(25-40 years old). This will allow me to bring in a much more diverse
and larger target audience which will spread my productions
message. My short documentary is going to be called Naughty by
Nature? A Look into ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder). I will tackle several topics surrounding the topic such as
medicine and how it's perceived by adults, do they believe in the
Disorder? Are children/teenagers misbehaving or can they not
help themselves. I might perhaps describe topics through drawn
animations such as how this is passed on through genes and what
are the symptoms. This will allow parents to understand the issue in
much greater detail. This will also be done through reliable
interviews which I will aim to get with individuals such as a CAMHS
worker or a doctor. This will be a very trustworthy interview that
will benefit my productions reliability due to them being
knowledgeable on the topic. I will also aim to gain a second
interview with a parent of a child who suffers from ADHD and
possibly a third interview with an individual who suffers from ADHD.
This will be beneficial to my target audience especially teenagers
as they will gain an understanding that they’re not alone with this
disorder and that's what I want them to walk away with a strong
understanding of ADHD as well as how to handle it and knowing
they shouldn't feel ashamed for being unique.
