COUNTER-AFFIDAVIT

I, REGINA PHALANGE, Filipino, of legal age, single, with residential

address at Baliwasan, Zamboanga City, after being duly sworn in
accordance with law, do hereby depose and state the following:

1. That I am the respondent in the instant complaint;

2. At the onset, I vehemently deny and brand as malicious, baseless,
unfounded and unjust fabrications that the instant complaint has
leveled against me;
3. The truth of the matter are as follows:
4. On February 20, 2019,I admitted receiving a text message from
the Complainant regarding her two (2) sets of earrings. I
volunteered to look for it once I returned.
5. On the following day, Complainant did not look for the said
diamond earrings so I assumed that she was able to find it.
6. That on March 8, 2019, I left the home of the complainant without
notifying her because I received a call from my aunt, Victoria
Mosby, that my mother was rushed to the hospital due to a heart
failure and when I arrived at the hospital, my cellphone ran out of
battery.
7. I have only known the case filed against me due to the fact that
the Honorable Court has issued an Order directing me to file my
Counter-Affidavit.
I executed this affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing fact
based on my personal knowledge, belief and authentic records; in
compliance with the order of this Honorable Court dated 18 March
2019; in my defense against this baseless and false complaint of
ROBIN SPARKLE filed against me for Qualified Theft: and for
whatever legal purpose it may serve.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand on this 01st day of
April 2019, at the City of Zambaonga, Philippines.
