(P1) -Warm-up: Teacher and Ss sing and dance the song “Go bananas” together. Mini-boards
PRESENTATION
- T review some vocabulary about food and things used in the kitchen. Markers
-Class pronounce the words correctly together and reflect the nouns. SB
-Play some games: TB
+ What’s missing? (Writing words)
+ Hot- seat game. (Saying words)

PRACTICE
-T asks some questions: TB
+What things/ materials do you see in the picture?
-Ss answer.
-T give Ss of each group 2 sets of paper that they have to order the words
into 2 correct sentences.
-Then 2 sts of 4 teams go to the board and stick the sentences on it.
-T gives each group 2 flashcards, next Ss read the sentences and match
them with the flashcards, and one correct answer gets 1 star.
-T and SS correct Reading part together.
-T lets class read the statements.
-T ask some individuals questions:
+ What do you use a knife for?
+ What do you use a plate for?
+ What do you use a bowl for?
+ What do you use a spoon for?
+ What do you use a chopsticks for?
+ What do you use a fork and a knife for?
What do you……………….for?
I use NOUN to VERB.

PRODUCTION
-Review Present continuous. TB
He/She/It/ They + is/ are + V-ing. Pictures
-T gives each group 1 picture. Cue cards
-T writes on the board the words used for each picture.
+P1: sunny, a few clouds in the sky, Mary and Harry, have a picnic,
farmer’s field, plates, bread, apples, and blanket, watch the butterfly, the
cow, and stand, behind the children.
+P2: the boy, stand up, catch the butterfly, the girl get up too, open the gate,
look at the children’s food.
+P3: the cow, eat some apples, get angry, afraid, “don’t worry!”
+P4: pick up flowers, give to the cow, Daisy-the cow, love flowers, laugh,
“that’s really a good idea!”, “let’s look for the butterfly again”. “Shall we
put the apples back in our rucksacks first?”

-T give each group some cue cards and ask them to write at least 2
sentences to talk about their picture.
-Ss work in group and complete the story.
-T calls some ss to stand up and tell the story.
-Homework (1’): Write the story again and practice telling the story at
home.
