Introduction to Courses
Course Aim:
This course introduces the advanced construction technology of
temporary works, building structures and envelopes for complex
building projects, particularly on the modern formwork systems,
prestressed and precast concrete structures, steel structures,
special structures, building envelope and intelligent façade systems.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLO)

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:-
CLO1: Compare the various modern formwork systems suitable for
use in a complex building project. (C2) (CS)
CLO2: Determine the appropriate construction methods, processes
and drawings for building structures of a complex building project. (C3)
(CTPS)
CLO3: Determine the appropriate construction methods, processes
and drawings for building envelopes of a complex building project. (C3)
(CTPS)
Assessment Methods
