a. Enemy Forces (Annex A – Intel Overlay)

(a) Composition.

The 2nd Bn, 910 Regiment is the enemy unit we are confronting. It is
composed of three (3) Infantry Companies, one HVY WPN Company, one (1) Mortar
Company, one (1) RCL Pltn and one (1) Recce Pltn.

(b) ________________. Our enemy is currently occupying defensive


positions at vic Labungan area VGL 33-37 & HGL 88-89, VGL 34-37 & HGL 83-86 and
VGL 27-29 & HGL 80-82 to block friendly forces in sector.

(c) _____________. The enemy is estimated to be 80% filled-up in


personnel and equipment.

The EN will employ Ops forward to provide early warning and attempt to
disrupt friendly forces formation with indirect fires. He will most likely send out patrols to
the flanks and forward of his defensive positions to make early contact and expose
friendly flanks and rear for their counter attack.

603 Inf Bde, 6ID, DIV SE1, attacks on D080100H 2010 to destroy EN forces at
OBJ OAKLEY in order to facilitate forward passage of Div ME towards vic Brgy
Labungan (OBJ MIXER) area.

3. EXECUTION:

Bde Commander’s Intent: I intend to retain control of route ANJO NLT D081000.

The decisive point of this operation is the destruction of enemy forces at OBJ
OAKLEY. We will accomplish this by conducting penetration with three (3) Inf Bns as
maneuver forces. One (1) Bn as ME attacks to destroy enemy forces at OBJ LANA in
order to facilitate forward passage of the Div ME towards Brgy Labungan area (OBJ
MIXER). One (1) Bn as SE1 attacks to destroy enemy forces OBJ ARA in order to
prevent its reinforcement towards OBJ LANA. Another Bn (-) as SE2 attacks to destroy
enemy forces at OBJ ALMA in order to prevent its reinforcement towards OBJ LANA.
One (1) Inf Company as the Bde reserve, follows the ME.

2) Fires. (See Annex D- Fire Support Overlay)

The purpose of fires is to allow unsuppressed movement of our troops. FA


POF to Scout Pltn of 64IB, o/o 75IB then 40IB.

3) Engineer: Purpose of engineer effort is to provide mobility for Bn assault


then counter-mobility and survivability during Consolidation and Reorganization. Priority
of effort is the reduction of tactical obstacles from LD to OBJs.
