3RDEDITION OF CII NATIONAL PUBLIC

PROCUREMENT CONCLAVE 2019

The total value of procurement of both Central and State Government organizations is over INR 5 Lakh
Crore per annum. Procurement of goods and services in the right quantity, of the right quality, at the right
time, at the right price and from the right source is a very important function for any Central or State
Government agency.

Government e-marketplace (GeM) is a state-of-the-art public procurement platform that has used
technology to remove entry barriers for bonafide sellers and has created a vibrant e-marketplace with a
wide range of goods and services.

As per Rule 149 of the GFR-2017, procurement of Goods and Services by Ministries/ Departments
of Central Government has been made mandatory for Goods or Services available on
GeM. Envisaged by the Government of India, GeM strives to keep pace with the ever-evolving
technological challenges and stakeholder aspirations. GeM has now introduced GeM 3.0, a more robust,
flexible e-marketplace with an intuitive User Interface (UI) to make procurement simpler than ever.

In this context, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with Government e-Marketplace
(GeM) is organizing the 3rd Edition of CII National Public Procurement Conclave on 5-6 December
2019, Indian Habitat Centre, Lodi Road, New Delhi.

NPCC brings together a host of Buyers/Sellers and the stalwarts of the industry with the massive
opportunities in the Public Procurement sector. It offers opportunities to interact with more than 800
buyers/sellers across sectors along with more than 400+ Public Procurement Managers from
different Governments Departments and PSUs across different states.

Buyers and Sellers are invited to actively participate in this conclave and limited number of stalls / Seats
are available on first come first serve basis.
