Subject: Caseof conflict of interest -reg.

Please refer to O.M No. C-13019/31/2015-vig.dated 06.02.2018 and subsequent

reminder dated 20.02.2019 (copy enclosed) on the above mentioned subject wherein it
has been highlighted that some cases has been observed where officer acting as the
executing officer has been appointed as a Member or Head of the committee which is
responsible to analyse and supervise the functions of executing authority.

2. In this regard, it is pertinent to mention that no officer be appointed as a member

or Head of the committee to analyse or supervise his own functions carried out in the
capacity of executive authority. Such cases will come under the purview of conflict of
interest. All concerned are advised to review such cases and take corrective action
immediately.

3. This issueswith the approval of the Competent Authority.
