Srinivasan The strategy is prepared considering 20Mhz TDD, 15 Mhz L1800 , 10 Mhz L2100 and 5 Mhz on UMTS. For sites which deviate from these configuration minor changes need to be done. TDD
1 10-Jan-19 Ani Padmarajan Kiran Sengupta
Kannan qrxlevmin has been set to -115. Calls in both idle mode and dedicated mode(volte and data) will exit TDD at -110.

Srinivasan
2 1-Mar-19 Ani Padmarajan Kiran Sengupta TDD qrxlevmin changed to -124. Idle mode relesection from TDD to FDD and dedicated mode inter-frequency HO threshold for TDD to FDD relaxed to -116 from current setting of -110.

Snapshot L2500 – TDD
20 Mhz
 TDD 2500 layer has the highest priority followed by FDD 2100,FDD 1800,
WCDMA and GSM.
 Volte has been enabled for both TDD and FDD layers.
L2100 – FDD
 Load balancing is activated between the LTE 2100 and LTE 1800 to ensure
10 Mhz
better end user experience.
 Load Balancing is activated from L2500 towards L1800. No load balancing is
activated towards L2500 from both FDD layers.
 No handovers defined on L1800 and L2100 layers towards L2500 as 2500 L1800 – FDD
spectrum is in the lower part of Band 41 15 Mhz
 Load Balancing has not been enabled between WCDMA and LTE.
 Volte users have been excluded from Load Balancing.
 SRVCC has been enabled for Volte in all LTE layers towards both WCDMA and
U2100 5 Mhz
GSM.
 No handover (NACC) is defined in Dedicated mode for Data from 4G layers
towards GSM.
 No handovers are defined from GSM towards WCDMA.

supporting lower part of band 41 increases we will re-assess the strategy.

 No load balancing is defined on L2100 and L1800 layers towards TDD.

 Load Balancing is enabled between L2100 and L1800 in order to balance the traffic between the layers leading to better end user experience.
 Volte Calls have been excluded from Load Balancing.
 Depending on the user experience achieved the thresholds for load balancing shall be tuned to optimize the same.
 Sites where L2100 has bandwidth of 5Mhz or L1800 has bandwidth of 10 Mhz we need to further tune the Load balancing thresholds to balance the
traffic.
