Alexia and Boji: Good morning everyone and welcome to (name ng talkshow)

Alexia: We will be your host for today, I am (say full name)

Boji: and I am (full name) and today we will be having a very unique guests.

A: They are locals from Batangas and would be more than proud to share about their province to us And
later on scientist that would gladly share their knowledge in this province.

A&B: Let us all welcome (name of locals)

*Enter locals *

B: Thank you for being here with us and accepting our invitation. Before we start, can you tell the
audience your names?

Locals : * sabihin niyo pangalan niyo

A: maraming salamat po palakpakan po natin sila at ngayun may mga ilan katanongan po kami sainyo

A: For the first question, "Can you tell us about your province?"

Locals 1 and 2: (include facts like saan banda sa pilipinas, tourists spots, ilang municipality/city ang
meron in short question 1 sa write up😂)

E: For the second question, "Since there is a volcano in Batangas, are there any hazards that you have
experienced?"

Local 1: Nakakaranas ang Batangas ng mga iba’t ibang kalamidad, katulad na lang nung bagyong Glenda
noong 2014. Grabe yun! Under state of Calamity ang batangas noong panahon na iyon tapos ang halaga

A: So we thank you for answering our questions and let’s take a break for a minute (commercial about
preparedness of disaster)
B: we are back and let us proceed to the next guest let us welcome the legendary scientist

Scientist : papasok sila tas uupo

B: Can you introduce yourselves to the audience

Scientist : pakilala tas yung expertise

A: today we have a few questions for the two of you in this province

A: For the first question, given these hazards, are there communities that were greatly affected? Can
Batangas withstand all of these hazards?

Scientist 1: For Volcanic Eruption, exposed elements are the people, structural buildings and houses, and
animals and plants. The effect of ash fall alone can greatly affect the province because it can cause lungs
and eye irritation. It can collapse the roof of buildings and houses and it can also cause heavy crop
damage. Those who are within the 100 meter radius of a volcano are the ones who can be greatly
affected during a volcanic eruption and can cause casualties

Scientist 2: Typhoon can also affect the people, livestock, buildings and houses. Strong winds can
destroy the structure of the buildings and houses. People are prone to illnesses brought about the flood
that carries unknown substances that can easily get in the body and it can also cause the loss of lives.

Scientist 1: And for the earthquake, mostly structural buildings are greatly affected. It can collapse
buildings and with that it can also affect the people because it can cause deaths.

B: second question if you had the power to stop a natural disaster that has happened in the past, which
would you choose? Why?

Scientist 2 (Pacs): sagot

B: So we thank you for answering our question and lastly let us call the mayor of the batangas let us

B: For all of the hazards that you have experienced, may you compare one disaster? What changed? And
what improved?

Mayor: One hazard that I have experienced is the taal volcano eruption. For the past years, taal have not
exploded after its eruption last 1977 just until this 2020. Comparing the data that I have gathered,
during the 1977 taal eruption there were 200 deaths that was recorded while the 2020 eruption, so far,
there were only 3 deaths recorded. With this being said, I think that our city at this point of time is more
prepared compared to the past eruption because the casualties are much lesser. Now, 18,626 families
were evacuated quickly and safely. The advancement of technology and awareness of the locals with
such disasters helped them to survive the eruption. The locals was evacuated quickly and safely
A: How can you help after a natural disaster?

Mayor : *answer

A: That was a great talk with our guests! That's it for today. Palakpakan po natin ang ating mga guest

B: Again,we are your hosts, I am (name)

A: And I am (name)A

All: and this is (name of talkshow)!!!!
