PERSONAL DATA
 Was born on the 27th of March 1958 in the Neftchala region
 1965-1975- studied at secondary school №1 in Neftchala
 1976-1981 – studied at the Philological faculty of Azerbaijan State University
 Since 1994 has been working at the Chair of Azerbaijani Linguistics of Baku State
University
 Married; has got two sons

COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL BACKGRAUND

 1981-1984 – post graduate student of the Chair of Azerbaijani linguistics of BSU
 1986 – defended the dissertation “Transformation of a complex sentence into a simple
sentence in the modern Azerbaijani language” and obtained a degree Ph. Doctor on
Philology.
 2003 – defended the dissertation “The structural semantics of a complex sentence in the
modern Azerbaijani language” and obtained a doctoral degree in philology
 2005 – obtained an academic rank of senior lecturer.
 2013 – obtained an academic rank of professor
LABOUR ACTIVITY
 1975-1976 – a worker in Construction Department in the Neftchala region
 1987-1989- senior Laboratory assistant at the Chair of Azerbaijani linguistics of
Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University
 1990-1994- teacher and senior teacher at the Chair of methods of teaching Azerbaijani
language and literature
 1994-2005 – senior lecturer of the Chair of Azerbaijani linguistics of BSU
 1994-2000 – vice – dean of philological department of BSU
 since 2013 has been a professor of the Chair of Azerbaijani linguistics of BSU
