about it from the boss. They told me that boss is disappointed; I made an abrupt decision and should take it back or think on it. I replied: How an employee can take such decision without having a job in back up. This isn’t a snippy act, I have spent a lot of time thinking about this job. It’s been 3 months since I am in stress because of this job and this is making my health down. Sorry, I can’t compromise on my health whether that is physical or mental. They replied: Such a foolish act, we didn’t expect this coming from you. Stress is everywhere at the workplace, you should deal with it, blah blah blah. I replied: I’ve been working for quite long now. So, I don’t agree. Stress is not everywhere; I wasn’t stressed out in my previous jobs. They replied: Well, still reconsider your decision, you’re wrong. Within next 3 months, 60% of them resigned from the job. Lessons learned: If your job is disturbing your health, then that is not the right place for you; you should start looking for a better one. Never change your decisions because of others’ opinions, only you know your situation. They won’t get it until they live it.
