Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting this Hands-on Exercise:
 Use MS Word to prepare exercise solution.
 You may consult tutorials and videos if the concept is not clear.
 Your submitted exercise will not be considered/counted if:
 It is submitted after due date.
 It is not in the required format (.doc or docx.)
 It does not open, or file is corrupt.
 It is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)

Learning Outcome:

After completing this exercise, you shall be:

 Exposed to the art of photography and how to use it in the arena of Creative Writing & Visual
Creativity.
 Able to develop skills to convert a simple photograph into a post-worthy material.
Problem Statement

Capture an eye-catching, interesting, heart-touching or humorous sight with your smartphone’s camera. Caption

it with an interesting / meaningful phrase (not more than 80 words), to convey your message to the audience.

Tasks:

 Use your smartphone’s camera to capture sights that may attract you.
 Choose the ONE that you think is most appropriate to create a post that might amuse, educate or intrigue
your audience.
 Caption it with a catchy phrase or expression (not more than 80 words) to accompany the photograph.
 Insert the photograph with the caption under it, in the MS Word file for submission.

Guidelines:

 Watch lesson videos 123 & 124 before attempting the exercise. Follow the tips and guidelines
provided. Also, these video lessons will provide aspirations or ideas in case you run out of them.
 Your submission SHOULD NOT HAVE:
 A picture of any person. You can use sights from nature, animals or a non-living being.
 Copied, plagiarized or unauthorized content.
 More than ONE picture. Only ONE original photograph with a caption will be graded.
 Avoid use of any extra details, editing and Photoshopping. Be as original as possible.
 Original content is required. Copied content will not be considered grade worthy.
 The solution file should be submitted in MS Word format.

How to submit Solution file on LMS?

Please perform the following steps for submitting your solution using LMS:

1) Login to the LMS

2) Click on the Exercises button within the My Activities section

3) Click on the submit button to upload your Solution
