Asia is one of the largest and the most populate continent.

In the past decade, we can see that Asia's

economy is rising evidently but as well as the population. Maybe that's why eventhough Asia is the
richest when it comes to natural resources we cannot fully increase our economic growth. Due to this, I
believe that One Asia is the answer to this issue.

But what's holding us back? Based on the article that I have read it is because Asia is hard to integrate
due to the territorial disputes and unhealed words by the past in Asia, the on-going rivalries of the
successful countries US, China and Japan, the argument of benefits, the gap between poor and rich
countries, and etc. Yet for me it also include the fact that countries in Asia produced a large degree of
“sameness” and standardization. We have the assets the we needed, the means, the natural resources,
we only need to accept change and focus more in innovation.

In this, the first obstacles that we need to overcome is the barrier to connectivity. Distances can be seen
in a positive light if only our markets can be better connected. One Asia will not only strengthen Asia for
the sake of Asians. It will enhance our purchasing power and our ability to be an engine for economic
activity within the global community. Through this, we easily anticipate that our rapid recovery will
indeed lead global economic growth in the years to come.
