2 SUGEESTIONS
From the analysis, it is identified that Hero bike is having more number of male customers. So
the company should advertise and attract female customers also to increase their market share in
two wheeler industry.

Most of the customers are married men .This shows employees perception towards Hero bikes
and they prefer Activa 125.In the same way the company can focus on college students segment
and can introduce new products like sports bikes to attract students.

Maximum all the customers are satisfied with almost all the factors and features of Hero bikes
but they prefer to have service in local mechanic shop. So the dealer should maintain little more
healthy relationship and CRM activities to bring their customers even after free service

It is very much clear that none of the demographic factor is affecting the buying behavior of
customers. But they always go with friends’ recommendation. So the company should
concentrate more on word of mouth promotion and should keep all their customers Happy and
loyal

Age and Occupation are considered to be the perception creating factors because it affects the
satisfaction and opinion of customers. To capitalize this company can go with age wise
segmentation in their product line.

Education is another demographic which influences the opinion of the customers. Educated
customers are seeking and comparing lots of information .So the dealers should always give lots
of information about their products and create visibility among markets
5.3 CONCLUSION
This study has observed many factors that affect customer perception. This study also focuses on
customers’ satisfaction on various factors. At the time of purchasing two wheeler customer has
different choice for two wheelers but the purchase decision depends on various factors like
product attributes, price, credit facility and brand. Study concluded that Hero Moto Corp is the
leading brand of two wheeler in Coimbatore city followed by Honda and Bajaj. This study
helped the researcher to use theoretical knowledge and to gain useful insights about the
importance of customer perception.

It is concluded that most of the respondents go to company showrooms to get the required
information about two-wheelers. In this context, company should make more information
available at its showrooms.

Among the product attributes which influence consumer decision making process with respect to
two-wheeler, speed, performance, mileage, engine capacity, maintenance cost, safety, price and
availability of spare parts are of high importance to consumers. Resale value, after sales service
facilities and brand name assumed lower level of importance. So, Company can take some
measures to enhance its brand image.

In case of consumer respondents’ perception on Hero Motor corp. product attributes, majority
respondents felt that bike price, price of spare parts, mileage and maintenance cost are
reasonable. About half the respondents felt that the performance of the vehicle is very good.
Hence, company is advised to take measures to improve the style and appearance of its two-
wheelers in order to make them more attractive to customers

After completion of study and careful analysis of the data can conclude that the public had a
favorable opinion about Hero bikes. The respondents were making the purchase of Hero bikes
after comparing it with Bajaj, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and TVS, so main comparing are Bajaj,
Suzuki and TVS the most common reason given by the respondents for purchase of Hero bike
was its unique mileage and comfort, which are not available in any other bikes and other reasons
being service and maintenance. In short it is perceived as good performer in the market. It is
possible to say that the respondents have good opinion about the Hero Bikes and scooters
