I N TR O D U C T I O N
SlappyCakes was founded in Portland, Oregon in 2009 by Ashley Berry; offering fun dining
concept where diners can customize their own pancakes with built-in griddles at each table.
Ashley shared her vision of starting SlappyCakes : “It’s all about self-expression. I’m a big
advocate of that. I get a great sense of satisfaction every time I see diners create their own designs
and let their imagination come to life. The creativity that comes out of every diner is unique
and that is what makes it so much fun. I love interactive dining because it brings people together.”
In 2013, Singapore was chosen as the location of SlappyCakes’ first outpost, and the brand
has since continued this vision and went on to win numerous accolades such as
“Best in Hands-On Kids Cooking Experience”, “Best of Best Family-Friendly Restaurant”,
and “Best Dessert Awards” by Parents World.
SlappyCakes is located at Resorts World Sentosa, Turf City and Plaza Singapura,
giving diners the convenience to satisfy their cravings.
