General information
The gearbox control unit (TECU) inputs for rotation speed have hardware diagnosis. Short circuits and open circuits
can be detected. At frequency < 20 Hz the diagnosis in FMI 3, 5 and 6 is done. Most electrical faults give frequency = 0
(i.e. < 20). Reset takes place as soon as the fault ceases to exist.
