includes solid propellant material (12) which has a modulus of
rigidity which is equal to at least 2000 psi (13.7ft MPa), more
preferably at least 4000 psi (27.5S MPa). Empty space, inwardly
of the case envelope is filled; with, a removable, structure (46)
having a modulus of rigidity which is equal to at least 2000 psi,
more preferably at least 4000 psi, to provide support for filament
winding of the case. The higher modulus of rigidity, is provided
to prevent sagging or distortion of the grain during filament
