2.Performing the activities

Group Work:
I have here cutouts with different shapes get one and cut the figure into squares and
rectangles. If you form squares measure the sides and get the area. If you form
rectangles measure the width and length then multiply. After getting the area add the area
of the square and or the area of rectangle to get the total area of an irregular figure.

Ask:
How many squares and or rectangles have form?
What is the area of the square and rectangle name A, B, C?
What is the total area of that irregular figure?
