The National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), New Delhi, in
collaboration with Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS), Hyderabad, has launched
a National Scheme of Innovation in Educational Administration.
The basic objective of the scheme is to recognise innovations in the field of educational
administration and management for efficient delivery of educational services and up-
scaling educational attainments. The main target group of the scheme is the Block and
District level educational administrators.
The Scheme consists of three important components; recognition of innovation through
awards; documentation of innovations; and dissemination of innovations though
publication and electronic media.
In order to identify innovations and the best innovative practices in educational
administration, the short listed applicants are required to submit a detailed write-up in
the form of descriptive account of innovations covering various aspects of the process of
conceptualising, and implementing them, and making change at their level. In other
words, the descriptive account of innovation should include the context of conceiving
the idea of innovation and its implementation as well as its outcome. While preparing an
elaborate write-up about the innovation, the participants are requested to follow the
indicative outline given below.
Length of the write-up: Length of the write-up about the innovation should be normally
between 2500-3000 words (Approximately 15 typed pages).
Language of write-up: The write-up may be submitted in English or Hindi or any
official language of the concerned state, i.e, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati etc.
The last date for receiving the detailed write-up about the innovation is 15 June
2014.The participants are requested to send the write-up well before time in order
to ensure its inclusion for second round of evaluation for the award and
documentation.
