INTRODUCTION

BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

An airport is a location where aircraft such as fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and blimps take off and land. Aircraft
may be stored or maintained at an airport. An airport consists of at least one surface such as runway for a plane to
take off and land, a helipad, or water for takeoffs and landings, and often includes buildings such as control
towers, hangars and terminal buildings.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

 Create an architectural design that would serve as an international gateway of the north cities of Luzon.
 Compliment the economic and tourism growth of the area particularly the Clark commercial zone.
 Resolve major architectural and urban design problems involving major and current transportation issues
using the principles of urban planning and community planning.
 Add another landmark for the community and create an architectural design that will serve as an ICON for
the entire community.

5. Public transport intermodal transfer ( Bus and Rail )

Notes:

 The students will formulate their own Design Objectives and Design Considerations based on the project
objectives.
 Use 20” x 30” for the final drawings
 Studies and schemes relating to the project will be done as class activities and considered as esquizzes and
seatworks.
 Other details in the space requirements will be provided by the students.
 Freehand and colored presentation for schematic drawings and conceptual drawings
 All Floor plans shall comprise complete dimensions and furniture otherwise the plate will not be accepted.
 The design Critique will be conducted after the submission of this plate and will serve as the Exam for
Design – 7
 NO LATE PLATES WILL BE SUBMITTED AND ACCEPTED
