I was not a person to discriminate between religions. I had more Hindu friends than Muslims.

I
certainly enjoyed the company of my Hindu friends rather than Muslim friends. I feel so ashamed to
categorize my friends in terms of religion. To be truthful, isn’t this exactly happening right now?
If you think we are against Citizen Amendment Act because it gives the right to citizenship, to the
Hindu and other various minority communities except for Muslims, then you are wrong.
We are happy to bring them back to our country although, this is not what the government intends to
do.
The government or shall I say BJP wants to exercise NRC in India, and then use CAA as a tool to give
instant citizenship to a citizen belonging to any religion except Muslim. CAA is the initial phase, to
grant citizenship to anyone but Muslims. Amit Shah himself said he intends to exercise NRC all over
India.
And when you say, if you are not illegal, why are you afraid? We are required to present documents
to prove our citizenship. Don't you think it is unfair to ask for us to produce the ancestral documents
to prove our citizenship? Don't you think it is unfair that my religion would decide if I get the right to
citizenship in INDIA? Don't you think it is unfair that if a person from any community except Islam
would not be able to produce documents, they will receive instant citizenship rights? Don't you think
it is unfair that a person from the Muslim community going to be illegal, stateless, passport less if
he/she unable to produce ancestral documents? Compare the rights, privileges of a Muslim in India
and, any person from the community like Hindu, Buddhism, Jain, Parsi, Sikh, Christian after CAA-NRC.
I advise you to look at CAA and NRC together, CAA is a mere tool that is for any community but
Muslims.
If you believe that everyone in India must have their ancestral documents, then Id suggests you, go on
roads, see the condition of financially oppressed people. Those who every year suffer the
environmental catastrophe, would they be able to present such documents?
Overlooking all these aspects, Can India afford such exercise? What is the benefit of this process?
Where are the resources? The economy is on the verge of crashing. Instead of necessary actions to
revive the Indian economy, the government wants to legitimize CAA-NRC.

I condemn any violence that has happened, but if you want to believe what happened at many
universities is right and what the Delhi police did was required and just.
I do not want to associate myself with you. This protest is not only against this fascist government but
against such people who support his ideology. I protest against you as well and sincere condolence
on our friendship.
