One activity, which gathers the future accountants in the region, is the
Regional Mid-Year Convention. This 4-day and 3-night event, stay-in
regional event is an amalgam of academic and non-academic
competitions and intends to imbue concepts of leadership, character
building, sportsmanship and sense of national pride and vision through
its plenary talks and trainings that will help each member to be
competitive in a global setting.
This year, the 22nd Regional Mid-Year Convention will progress in line with the
theme “Festivali: Cultivating Culture and Heritage through Solidarity and
Upholding Excellence for an Elevated Region Eight” and it will be held on
October 24 to 27, 2019 at Western Leyte College, Ormoc City, Leyte.
The four-day event is loaded with the following activities for the delight of the
delegates, and projected to reach at least 500 delegates:

Aside from participating from the above activities, delegates will also have the opportunity to network and
be exposed with institutional partners from the leading accounting firms and professional firms in the
country.
Regular Registration shall commence on September 23, 2019 and will end on October 9, 2019.
Walk-in Registration shall commence on October 10, 2019 and will end on October 16, 2019. Walk-in
registrants have no other option but to avail the Scheme C.
It is with a deep sense of honor to have been able to communicate with you and present the ideals of our organization
thus knitting a thread of mutualism among us. That is why we would like to seek for your assistance to finance the
registration fee of (Tolin, Owen; Dadios, Aimar; Surima, Ram; Pitogo, Jenkin; Ubay, Ken; Fiel, Miko; Laguna, John Mark;
and, Galo, Klint John) from (WLC-JPIA) to allow him/her to participate in our organization’s grand event. Your help will
be a cause of inspiration and strength for all of us.
