CERA HYPERPLAST XR-W40 is polycarboxylate ether based new range water reducing
admixture.

Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 can be used for

FUNCTION :
Normal superplasticiser work by separating
the cement particles using electrostatic
dispersion. As the repulsive forces get weaker
with time, cement tends to agglomerate
resulting in slump loss. When Cera
Hyperplast XR – W40, which is an acrylic
polymer, is used, cement particles are
dispersed more efficiently by the adsorption
of the acrylate chains together with the stearic
hindrance effects of the carboxyl group. This
dual action prevents early slump loss.
Ready – mixed concretes where long haulage
times are expected – especially in congested
urban areas.
Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 can be used of
pre-cast pre-stressed concrete applications.
Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 is recommended
for hot weather concreting applications.
Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 is recommended
for use in concretes requiring extremely high
permeation resistance.

USES METHOD OF APPLICATION

Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 is used for Self-
consolidating, self-leveling concrete using low
water-cement ratios and comparable or low
cement contents as compared to normal
concrete.
Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 is used for
concretes using large amounts of
supplementary cementing materials like fly
ash, GGBFS and silica fume.
Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 is available as a
ready to use liquid, which is dispensed into the
concrete along with mixing water. It is desirable
to add the admixture after about 50% of the
mixing water is added into the mixture. Suitable
mixture proportioning procedures need to be
adhered to in order to obtain the optimal
admixture efficiency.
SPECIFICATION COMPLIANCE used, it is a safe practice to conduct laboratory
tests to determine the optimal dosage and
ASTM C 494-03 (Type – F & G), BS 5075, and application methods.

COMPATIBILITY: STORAGE:
Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 is compatible with Cera Hyperplast XR – W40 can be stored in
all kind of Portland cements. However, sealed containers of very long durations without
laboratory testing is desired before application loss of activity. However, best performance is
in the site. When other admixtures area also obtained is used before 12 months from the
date of manufacture.
