We are group of students at AIT Pune motivated towards Electronics and Product Design.
Robu IDC serves as resource centre providing practical electronics developments and
industry interface in the same. Here we work on various projects and aspire to take them at
professional and end user deployment level.
For the past one year since the establishment we are continuously sharpening our hands and
skills in the related field.
Our Objective is to group the like-minded hobbyist and motivated people for electronics
Development and explore our idea and take them to execution. We help each other by
teaching, learning and motivation each other. At present we have assembled many
resources at our workplace useful for working on projects.
Projects Undertaken –
KABBADI TIMER (COMPLETED)
Our objective was to reduce human interference in Kabbadi game. Team developed
Controller and Display System in which a single referee can keep track of all the gaming
evaluation parameters by updating the results using a wireless remote. Portable 7 segment-
based Display also bring more clarity to Players and the audience.
Upcoming Initiatives –
WORKSHOP ON MICROCONTROLLER (PROPOSED)
We have been working on development of our own Development Board to be used in
various project development and testing. After successful launch of Board for general use we
will conduct workshop for all FEs, SEs and TEs demonstrating the Board and Microcontroller
overview.
The SMD Board has been sent for manufacturing and expected to be ready in 45 Days
including Verification and mounting.
The board will be launched to buy for AITians and may also be launched on Robu.in Platform
with necessary modification.
EVENTS AT TECH-AAKRITI (PROPOSED)
To extent our vision for our fellow mates, we have planned to launch few events in college
Interbranch and Intercollege competitions with the cooperation of Robu.in. the events will
give better coverage of Robu IDC initiative to the students and will platform to new team
members.
Future Plans –
WEB PORTAL & BLOG (PROPOSED)
To organise our work and efforts at one place to have decided to make a website which will
also serve as Our Online Component Database solution enabling others to issue/Borrow
available tools/components from the lab and easy maintenance of the same.
Blog will be developed to organise all the knowledgebase and our experiment results at one
place enabling others to read and contribute towards digital learning in simple terms.
