 EXPENSE ANALYZER

ABSTRACT

We are developing an android application named as “Expense Analyzer” and this application is
used to manage the application user‘s daily expenses in a more efficient and manageable way. By
using this application we can reduce the manual calculations for their daily expenses and keep the
track of the expenditure. In this application, user can provide his income to calculate his total
expenses per day and these results will stored for unique user.

EXISTING SYSTEM

In existing, we need to maintain the Excel sheets, CSV etc. files for the user daily and monthly
expenses. In existing, there is no as such complete solution to keep a track of its daily expenditure
easily. To do so a person as to keep a log in a diary or in a computer, also all the calculations needs
to be done by the user which may sometimes results in errors leading to losses or consume a lot of
time to get solution.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

To reduce manual calculations, we propose an application which is developed by Android. This

application allows users to maintain a digital automated diary. Each user will be required to register
on the system at registration time, the user will be provided id, which will be used to maintain the
record of each unique user. Expense Analyzer application which will keep a track of Income-
Expense of a user on a day to day basis. This application takes Income from user and divides in
daily expense allowed. If u exceed that days expense it will cut if from your income and give new
daily expense allowed amount, and if that days expense is less it will add it in savings. Expense
analyzing application will generate report at the end of month to show Income-Expense via
multiple graphs. It will let you add the savings amount which you had saved for some particular
Festivals or day like Birthday or Anniversary.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE:

MODULE IMPLEMENTATION

In this application implementation we have 2 modules,

1. User Module
2. Expense Analyzer Module
Module Description:

User:

In this module user must register with the application while registration he have to provide the ID
to manage the unique user records in the application.

Expense Analyzer:

The Expense tracker takes income from user and divides in daily expense allowed and it will
generate report at the end of month to show Income-Expense via multiple graphs.

Conclusion and Future Work:

The user can use this application in his/her daily life. After being used it can be a part of our daily life to
update and view our daily expense
Hence this app can be used as version_1 & start exploring it. Once the users is adapted to practice this
version 2 can be done as future work. Future work can be like we can integrate this app with any of our
credit / debit / cash card & keep track directly from our saving account. Once when we start doing that
this will help us to update details automatically rather than updating in manually.
