A Season of Hope and a Time of Faithful Rejoicing
(In the midst of our troubled, turbulent and darkened world, the coming of the Christ Child and the
salvific grace, mercy and blessing that Jesus the Messiah brings to all of creation is, indeed, a special
event, a season of hope and a time of faithful rejoicing. It is through the Scriptures enfleshed,
proclaimed and received and the lighting of the candles of hope, peace, joy and love that the Christ
Candle becomes real in our lives as it/as our lives shine forth to give light to all of humankind.)
