RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION OF PUBLIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS
FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021

1. The Department of Education, Schools Division Office of Camarines Sur, announces
the conduct ofU1e recruitment and selection of Junior High School teachers for school
year 2019-2020 pursuant to the guidelines set forth in DepEd Order Nos. 7 and 22, s .
2015.
2 . The submission of application shall be from January 28 to February 10, 2019.

3 . Applicants who will take the English Proficiency Test (EPT) must register through
h ttps://bit.ly/EPTNovl0'.2019 on or before February 14, 2020.

4 . The schedule of activities relative Lo the entire process, ilie venue and the list of the
sub-committees are found in Enclosures 1 and 2 respectively of this Memorandum.

5. The following are the Criteria for Evaluation of Applicants

Education - 20 points
Teaching Experience - 15 points
LET/PBET Rating - 15 points
Specialized Training and Skills - 10 points
EPT Result (if taken already) - 15 points
Interview - 10 points
Demonstration Teaching - 15 points

SPED Teacher-applicants must possess any of the following qualifications:


• Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Special Education Bachelor of
Secondary Education plus 18 units in special education in the graduate level
• Bachelor of Secondary Education plus 15 units in special education with 2 vears
of very satisfactory teaching experience in the regular schools and is willlilg to
be trained within a year
• Bachelor of Secondary Education plus 12 units in special education with 4 years
of very satisfactory teaching experience in the regular schools and is willing to
be trained within a year
• Bachelor o~ Secondary Education plus 9 units in special education with 6 years
of ~ery _s a?sfactory teaching experience in the regular schools and is willing to
tram withm a year
• Bachelor of Secondary Education plus 2 years of very satisfactory teaching
experience as a SPED teacher

7 . The School Heads arc directed to organize their School Screening Committee which
shall perform the functions stipulated in the abovementioned DepEd Orders. In
addition, they may conduct orientation to the a pplicants regarding the application
process in their respective schools.

8 . Expenses incurred relative to this activity such as venue and food, including travel
expenses of the committees, are chargeable against Division/School MOOE subject to
the usua l accounting and a uditing rules and regulations.

9 . Widest dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.

GUIDELINES IN THE RECRUITM.ENT AND SELECTION OF PUBLIC JUNIOR HIGH


SCHOOL TEACHERS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2019-2020

1. Application Procen and Requirements

The applicant submits written Lettez of Application to the School where they intend
to lodge their application. The application shall be in white folder with the following
requirements:
a. Handwritten application letter
b . CSC Form 212 Revised Personal Data Sheet completely filled up with latest
passport size ID picture
c. Latest barangay Certification which states that the applicant is a bonafide
r esident of the barangay for the last 6 months as of her / h is application
d . Certified photocopy of PRC professional identification card or a PRC certification
showing the teacher's name , LET rating, and other information recorded in the
PRC Office
e . Eligibility Rating/Photocopy of PRC ID (if expired please include claim stub)
f. NSO birth certificate
g. NSO Marriage Contract, if any
h . Certified copies of Transcript of Records (Baccalaureate Degree and Post
Graduate Studies, if any)
i. Certificate of General Weighted Average (GWA)
j . Copies of service records, performance rating, and school clearance for those
w ith teaching experience. If unavailable, the applicant must submit a
justification citing the reason/s for unavailability.
k. Certificates of specialized trainings, if any
1. Certified copy of the Voter's ID
m . NB 1 clearance
n . Omnibus certification of authenticity and veracity of all documents submitted ,
signed by the a pplicant

2. The Applicant undergoes Demonstration Teaching, Interview, and Validation of Special


Skills
The Education Program Supervisors for each subject area and the Public Schools
District Supervisors sha ll prepare the composition of their sub-committees for this purpose.

3. The Applicant reports for the evaluation of documents.


4. The applicant takes the English Proficiency Test (EPT) accordin& to schedule.
