 How We Help

• It is more than evident that water is an important resource

that needs to be saved.

• However, we’ve discovered it is very difficult to make

people take care of water.

• Hence, we came up with a sophisticated approach for

filtering water used for domestic cleaning purposes.

Testing and Production

• SWWMS has been setup at IISER Pune and has

successfully saved an estimated 1500 Litres of Water in
washrooms in a typical test method in 1 month.

• SWWMS has been at work for the last 5 years, without

major maintenance and mechanical breakdown.

• SWWMS will be manufactured in house in our Pune plant.

Testing and Production
• A person requires 250 ml of water per wash and on a normal
day a person washes their hand for atleast 5 times a day
which is 1.25 litres.

• Considering 4 people stay in one house and use 5 litres of

water per flush so 20 litres of water are used for flush.

• Say 4 people use 1.25 x 4 litres of water per day for hand
wash.

• So 5 litres of water which can save one flush of water per

day. That leads to 1825 litres of water saving per year per
house. That leads to 18250 litres of water saving for 10 years
 Feedback and
Improvements

• Debris clogged up the Filtration assembly and

occasionally caused flooding.

• Ion Exchanger Sensitivity had to be fine tuned for allowing

only clean water.

• Warning lamps on Filtration console when Ion-Exchanger

needs to be cleaned or inspected.
Advantages of SWWMS

• Practically maintenance free.

• Just install it and forget it.

• Huge saving of water considering increasing water taxes

and limited quantities of water.
