ECG Workshop Learning Objectives
Correctly interpret each 12-lead ECG using a methodical, systematic
approach to determine
• Rate
• Rhythm (and conduction)
• Axis
• Hypertrophy
• Ischemia/Infarction
To determine rhythm/conduction use the following approach
• Fast or slow?
• Regular or irregular?
• Check Ps (Uniformity; P for Q; Q for P)
• Check QRS (Uniformity; wide or narrow)
• Check intervals
• Ectopics?
