    Government Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital is a renowned and only Government
    Ayurveda College in the state of Tamilnadu situated in the district of kanyakumari (the southern most
    tip of India) it was established in the year 2006. Kanyakumari District is well known for its
    contribution towards Indian System of Medicine.
    This year, as a part of our College day celebration, we are organising a National Seminar involving renowned speakers
    from different parts of India, on the focal theme “Ayurvedic Gastroenterology”.
    Gastroenterology is the branch of medicine which deals with digestive system and its disorders. Ayurveda in its
    unique way, describes Gastroenterology in terms of Koshta and Agni. In the current era, due to the diet and lifestyle
    modifications, diseases related to gastroenterology is increasing at an alarming rate. Addressing today’s need, this theme
    focuses on a sincere effort to acquire in depth knowledge about Mahasroto vyadhis and its management.
