4. Provide a financial overview of your organization for the past two years
(Annual Report). If the company is privately held, please provide, at a
minimum, Annual Revenue and Net Income for the previous 2 years.

5. Vendor shall furnish evidence that they have the necessary financial
resources to perform the contract. Include the most recent annual
report, D & B, etc.

6. Identify the total number of employees, with breakdown by functional


area. At a minimum, clearly identify which functional areas provide
the following services: installation, support, implementation,
sales/marketing, administration and research/development. Please
identify the physical location (state or country) where your employees
are located, especially your support function.
As of January 2008 Convergint Technologies has over 600
plus professionals in 20 cities throughout the United States & Canada.
Servicing and Supporting the UHC Project will be done primarily out of the
Austin and Houston offices with over 30 installation personnel with 7
project managers.
Product & Services Description

1. Provide a brief description of your overall RTLS solution for the


hospital market. Be sure to address positioning RTLS hardware,
middleware, application software, installation, training, maintenance,
support, and other value added account management services.
Convergint: Will provide onsite training and support of all hardware installed for
this project. Convergint offers 3 to 5 year maintenance plans that extends the
Manufactures warranty and provides additional coverage for labor and
replacement parts. Convergint offers a 24/7 support team to call and request
immediate service.

2. Provide a specific description of the RTLS solution that you would


recommend for the Health System. Your recommendation should be
based on information that will be discussed at the pre-bid conference
and general content of this RFP. The recommended solution can be a
phased approach the tackles the easier problems in the beginning, but it
should also describe the long-term solutions and benefits.

3. Provide evidence of experience as an integrator of multiple


technologies that would allow UHS to achieve the best total solution by
combining the strengths of various tag technologies.

4. How many years have you been installing and supporting real time
location systems for healthcare clients? Provide evidence of your
experience and reputation in the healthcare RTLS market.

5. Provide evidence of experience in helping clients maximize their ROI


from using RTLS technology.

6. Provide evidence of experience in helping clients model, monitor, and


analyze their workflows so that process improvements and increases in
throughput were realized through the use of RTLS technology to track
patients, staff, and assets.
Mandatory Requirements and Desirables

3. The vendor must have proven experience installing and supporting


large (200+ bed) hospitals in the United States. Please provide references.

6. The vendor must have proven experience providing a turn-key solution that includes
hardware, software, middleware, training, account management, and services.

7. The vendor must be capable of providing 24/7 support.

Installation

1. Explain how the installation will be done to minimize interference with hospital
operations.
Convergint can execute projects out side of normal hours upon request.

MAINTENANCE / UPGRADES / SUPPORT

1. Describe the company’s support structure.


Convergint offers immediate support for any down hardware and hardware
configuration. Software requirements will be jointly handled by Sense IQ and an
onsite Convergint Specialist under the direction of an assigned account Project
Manager.
