" Reinforcing the Future Professional Accountants"

It's our Accountancy Week Celebration 2019, with the Theme "Reinforcing the Future
Together Today" that day talks about what will be the possible job will offer to CPA applicants
and also it's inspired me to pursue my dream career in the future to be an CPA licensure that
day we have our special guest speaker: Thelma Ciudadano, CPA,MBA,MRI,FRIC she said their are
many opportunities in Accountancy Profession or Career Opportunities like Public Practice
Commerce and Industry, Government Service, Education and many more, But before that you
need to pass CPA board Exam the Passing Rate - 16.46% last May CPALE (very low rate) so she
said that board exam is so difficult the Goal: to get 50% passing rate for the next CPALE,there
should be "no erasures/ alteration of answers,because the system is sensitive"also you need
Knowledge,Skills Values, Application Understanding/Remembering the forms of quest. : MCQ
and situational6 subject. FAR, AFAR, RFBT, MAS, Taxation, Auditing, FAR, AFAR, MAS -20 30,Tax
and Audit, 50 50 and that all she explain to us.

Another guest speaker our Multi-PICPA PICPA National Vice-Pres:Nenita R. Malbas,

CPA, MBA she said, "Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help people while
the unsuccessful people are always asking for opportunities"

And another Inspirational Talks in Public Practice Speaker:she said "I engaged in public
practice because I believe that I embodied my profession which is being a Certified Public
Accountant."she has 4yrs In public practice and she said there are advantages in public practice
like, Familiar with the new standards and provision, updates and amendments, Expose in
regulatory requirements,the interpersonal skills will be develop,Preparing the FS.

Disadvantage: Deadlines,Demanding Clients and many more,one word that she said that
inspired me is "All of my efforts are not wasted from studying the Accountancy through entering
in this kind of practice".
 Another Guest speaker in Government Practice Miss,Jessa -Auditor in COA also she said
there is also advantage: Accountants ,Budget Officer,Internal and External Auditors. Another
inspired message is "Government Accountants are very important to help the government
combat the corruption" so she said again that "There are a lot of jobs to choose for the future
CPAs".

Another guest in Commerce and Industry Speaker: Paglinawan almost 8years

Experiences: Advantages in Commerce and Industry is Analyze and give advice for the
management, launch a long and awarding character, Continuation for Commerce and
Industry:Work until 5 or having extra times,Set report, Flexible, entry-level accountants, Enjoy
an experience through gaining years of working, possible promotions without prejudice

Disadvantages: Fewer opportunities to enter,going back to entry-level accountant if ever

backing off of job and start again to be a senior accountant and another word she said:

"Remember to choose the things that makes you the happiest"

Another Academe Accounting:Speaker:Mrs Janet Matuguina 8 yrs In commerce and 2 yrs. In

government"she said "CPAs will have more opportunities in the near future,and also she said If
you have the time, skill and passion enter the academe".All inspirational message that I've
heard inspired me to pursue my dream in life.
