hottest and latest news today.
Houses near the Taal Volcano, in total lockdown. The Philippine National Police
(PNP) has implemented a total lockdown in four towns near Taal Volcano,
preventing people from entering the area within the 14-kilometer danger zone,
which is susceptible to ballistic projectiles, base surges and volcanic tsunami.
The mandatory evacuation remains in effect in 14 areas comprising of the towns
of Agoncillo, Alitagtag, Balete, Cuenca, Laurel, Lemery,Malvar, Mataas na
Kahoy, San Nicolas, Sta. Teresita, Taal and Talisay and the cities of Lipa and
Tanauan. To prevent people from entering the “off limits” zone, the PNP has
established checkpoints. A system of one entry and one exit point was also done
to allow the evacuees to get what they can save of their belongings for 2 hours.
Duterte also said that the residents should not go back to their houses until it is
deemed by the government agencies. The safety of the people is of top priority.

Athrea Acuña: Yes Janela, with their latest game, the Los Angeles’ Markelle Fultz hits
two big layups in the final minute while scoring 21 points during his second
career triple-double, but sadly, the Orlando Magic snapped the Los Angeles
Laker’s nine-game winning streak with a 119-118 victory last Wednesday night.
Fultz added 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while Aaron Gordon had 21 points and
a late go-ahead basket as the Magic became the first sub-.500 team to beat the
Western Conference-leading Lakers this season despite blowing a 21-point lead
in the second half. Wes Iwundu scored a career-high 19 points, and Nikola
Vucevic scored seven of his 19 points in the fourth quarter of the Magic’s eight
win in 12 games. LeBron James had 19 points and matched his career high with
19 assists before missing a tying 3-pointer with three seconds left for the Lakers
(33-8), who hit the halfway point of their regular season with their first loss since
Christmas. Quinn Cook scored a season-high 22 points, including a 3-pointer at
the buzzer, while Troy Daniels added a season-high 17 for the Lakers. Los
Angeles finally lost and its 4th straight game without injured superstar Anthony
Davis. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also scored 17 points for the Lakers in their
final home game before a five-game road trip while the Grammy Awards take
over Staples Center.

Alamina Solaiman: Yes Janela, we’re here today in London as the Britain’s Prince
Harry is said to have his first public appearance since Queen Elizabeth accepted
to the wished of her grandson and his American wife, Meghan, to step back from
their senior royal roles and seek a more independent future. The Prince, sixth in
line to the throne, will host the draws for next year's Rugby League World Cup at
Buckingham Palace in what his last scheduled engagement before he and
Meghan begin a “period of transition” to their new roles. If we can remember, it
was only last week that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, announced
that they wanted to reduce their royal duties and spend more time in North
America, while also becoming financially independent. It seems like the Prince is
much more alike to his mother, the late Princess Diana of Wales. Back to the
