The process to make a study room a vastu compliant one is a two step – but very easy – process. Categories
The first step to make your study room vastu compliant is to locate it as per rules and guidelines of

Having seen the image, I assume that you now understand that the best location to make a study
room is the west portion of your home. However – due to any reason – if the west portion of the
home is unavailable then you can make the study room in north-east corner or east part of home.

The second – and the final – step that you need to take to make your study room a vastu compliant
one is to read and apply vastu tips and guidelines.

I have compiled a list of all study room vastu tips for you. Go through them, one by one.

Study Room Vastu Tips

1. Place study room in West, East or North-East of a home.
Vastu Shastra As Per House Facing
2. Student, while reading must face either East or North direction.

the west or at any direction for that matter, at all. What is the
reason behind that? Why west? Also how alternate locations
were derived? I searched online elsewhere and here, but
could not find the reason. Every where they say as a rule, not
justifying with proper reason. Also one's west is neighbor's
east, so how could vastu avoid this relative behaviour?

because of the elements associated with these
directions. Again there's a lot of science behind
choosing these areas for a study room and that'll need

english, which I could refer to, specifically for
this point? Please do not mistake, but I am
very tired of hearing again and again "you
cannot understand, its too hard to
understand, but has lot of science" black box
reply everywhere. it only sounds like escapism
to me. No one seems to be able to provide
specific reference as where Vastu (original
article) has talked about this issue. Also lack of
clarity on relativity. What is west for me is east
for neighbour, just divided by a compound
wall. How could then they act differently for
us?

Hlo sir my study room corners are in following directions:-
North,south,east,west.my home has 4 rooms front facing is
NW direction .my study room is last.study rooom walls are in
:--NE,SE,SW,NW direction according to mobile compass.but
according to sun it look like in N,E,W,S directions.i also have
a gym equipments in my room.my bed attached with SE wall
and i face NE direction for study according to compass.plz

Hello Sir,

I have done renovation of my flat. During this I demolished

the bathroom/toilet from children's bedroom and converted
that area into study area. The layout of the children's
bedroom / study room is attached. The direction while
studying is north. The bed is in east west direction. Please let
me know if there are any doshas, and if yes, please suggest

North is the direction of Kuber and mainly related with

money and wealth; East is the direction of Sun and related
with name, fame, concentration and knowledge.

Hence facing East while studying is better and working while

facing North is more beneficial.

You must never sleep with your head towards the footboard
side of the bed and try to keep the head in South, West or
SW.

The toilet is ok.

Since this is a diagonal house, I am attaching an image of

I can see that there's a mirrored wardrobe exactly in front of

the bed in master bedroom. Is any part of the body reflected
in the mirror while lying on the bed?

Thanks for your response. And, yes these are full
length mirrors from celling to the floor (covering the
built in wardrobe that cannot be moved) all across the
wall of the room. So the entire wall in front of the bed
is mirrored.The body is completely reflected in the
mirror at all times - day and night - sleeping, standing
and sitting.
Is the bed positioned correctly? To avoid sleeping
with head towards north, we have recently started to
sleep with the head towards the foot board of the bed.
The WC faces north east - I guess that too is
incorrect?

So that's where the problem is.. As per vastu

shastra, if, while sleeping or lying on bed, any
of the body part is reflected in a mirror then
the same body part will develop medical
issues.

As a remedy, either cover the mirrors or create

a partition between bed and wardrobe in such
a way that none of the body part is visible in
the mirror while sleeping or lying on bed.
