Say for example: Civil Construction Engineering – The most common mistakes is right from the start
when it opened as a construction engineering business firm, as follows:

1. The absence of audit/assessment from third party international agency Third Party Civil Testing
Laboratory (TPCTL) e.g. Lloyeds Register, Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) or approved
Government TPCTL to do its finding and recommendation. From this assessment or audit, the
Government shall have the list of Government approved Construction Engineering Firms.

2. Government has have Discipline Engineering Inspection Test Plan (ITP) in each field of engineering.

3. From this ITP, the government or even private firms shall create the so called Inspection Checklist (IC)
to be the basis of the approved Inspection Team (approved by international agencies LLoyeds Register,
SGS or from State Universities, etc. capable to do inspection).

B) Ano yong mga batas na madalas nalalabag ng mga construction companies?

1. Most common violations – No implementation of item (A) requirement above.

2. Violations of Government Building Code and International Code.

3. Because No sample product testing based on the ITP and IC (item 3 under (A) above) which will be
done at international or government approved TPCTL in the country.

C) Bakit laganap pa rin ang mga substandard na construction?

Because item (B) requirement is not followed and therefore, violators are not appropriately penalized
criminally.

D) Ano yong mga kino consider para masabi good quality yong product?

It shall passed the necessary product testing. Say for example for Civil concrete requirement, it must
passed the following:

1. Concrete Batch Plant approval

2. Concrete Mix Design (CMD)

3. Ray Materials of CMD (Water, ICE, additieves such as silica fumes, etc.)

4. Concrete temperature

5. Compressive strength breaking load to verify strength of concrete as per design say: 14 MPA, 28, 32
and 35 MPA the breaking will be at approved TPCTL to be witnessed by approved inspectors and client
representative.
6. Must be in accordance with international standards such as: American Cement Institute (ACI),
American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of State Highway and
Transportation Officials (AASHTO),

E) Ano ang mga posibling mangyari kapat nalaman na yong isang companya ay gumagamit ng products
na hindi maganda yong quality?

1. The company will face Criminal law suit.

2. The construction product cannot attain to its intended design, might collapse at certain point of earth
movement.
